The Winds of Change is far from the run of the mill public house that has fantastic views overlooking Dartmoor to the East.  Purpose built in 1989 it is very spacious, and, whilst being very modern still has lots of character.

It is now almost seventeen years since Mike and Val  Ratcliff took over ‘The Winds of Change’ and they regard their customers more as friends.  There is a nice atmosphere about the place and is the perfect place to take the family, somewhere the young or elderly will feel at home.

Off the spacious bar it sports a games room for darts, bar billiards and a pool table.

At the other end of the bar is now a seperate dining room with seating for 16 covers.

A separate restaurant for 50 covers is available for private functions from a small buffet to a sit down meal with menus designed for the occasion. There is a very extensive bar menu available both lunchtime and evening 7 days a week.

All food is freshly cooked to order from carefully selected fresh produce sourced where possible from local traders.

Where GM food stands for Great Meals !

Fish fresh from the markets and fresh turkey straight from the farm are amongst the deliveries made daily using specially adapted vehicles to keep the produce at its best.  Once delivered Val Ratcliff takes over with the preparation and cooking using the comprehensive equipment in the modern kitchen.
